  • Lead and support infrastructure lifecycle and modernization initiatives, including upgrades, migrations, and cloud adjacent transformations.

  • Implement and maintain infrastructure security controls, patching practices, and hardening standards in collaboration with cybersecurity teams.

  • Support and continuously improve backup, recovery, and disaster recovery capabilities, including testing and validation activities.

  • Develop and maintain automation, tooling, and operational documentation to improve efficiency, consistency, and service reliability.

  • Support the evolution of the enterprise security posture by implementing and maintaining Zero Trust architecture principles, including identity-based access controls and secure edge access.

  • Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and advisory support to infrastructure peers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and shared accountability.

  • Act as the primary technical liaison with external vendors for escalated support cases, actively managing open incidents through to resolution and advocating for organizational priorities.

What you should have:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience can be considered.

  • A minimum 7 years of experience in enterprise IT infrastructure administration roles.

  • Senior level, experience across multiple infrastructure domains, including servers and virtualization, networking and voice/video, storage and backup, and database platforms.

  • Experience supporting on premises and hybrid cloud environments, ensuring reliability, security, and recoverability.

  • Strong knowledge of ITSM processes (incident, problem, and change management), with advanced troubleshooting and automation skills (e.g., PowerShell).

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in both French and English, engaging technical and non technical stakeholders.

Technologies:

  • Network Technologies – LAN/WAN, VPNs, firewalls, SD WAN, MPLS, and voice/video collaboration platforms.

  • Automation & operations: Ansible scripting, infrastructure monitoring, and ITSM tools.

  • Cloud & Hybrid Network Infrastructure – Microsoft Azure and on premises to cloud integration.

  • Network Security & Zero Trust – Implementation of STNA, SASE, Identity-aware Proxies and advance firewall policies enforcing continuous authentication.

It would be great if you also had:

  • Experience in regulated or security sensitive environments.

  • Exposure to cloud and hybrid infrastructure.

  • Knowledge of enterprise standards; ITIL certification or equivalent service management certification are an asset.

  • Industry certifications in infrastructure technologies (e.g., Microsoft, VMware, Azure, networking, backup, or database platforms) are considered assets.
