We are seeking a motivated and results-oriented individual for the role of Project Coordinator. Reporting to the Senior Project Coordinator, in this role, you will support project planning, coordination, and communication efforts to ensure infrastructure projects are effectively delivered and aligned with government priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and monitor all phases of infrastructure projects from planning through commissioning.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including contractors, consultants, health regions, and government partners.
- Prepare and review technical and planning documents, such as functional programs and service plans.
- Support procurement coordination, including consultant and contractor onboarding.
- Develop project documentation including briefing notes, project charters, and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Track progress against project goals, timelines, and budgets, and identify potential risks.
- Interpret technical findings and translate them into communication products for non-technical audiences.
- Organize and prioritize tasks across multiple concurrent projects to ensure high-quality outcomes within established timelines.
Software Proficiency:
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint. Familiarity with project management tools and document control practices is considered an asset.
Qualifications and Competencies:
- A two-year post-secondary diploma in a related field (e.g., project management, business administration, engineering technology) or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills, with experience supporting infrastructure or construction projects.
- Knowledge of project delivery, stakeholder engagement, and government procurement processes.
- Excellent communication skills, with experience preparing documents for diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively in team environments.
