Wasaya is seeking an Aircraft Cleaner to join our team. As an Aircraft Cleaner, you will play a vital role in the cleanliness of the company aircraft and the building facilities. If you possess the right qualifications, have a passion for aviation, and a strong work ethic, we want to hear from you!
Job Summary
This position is responsible for the cleanliness of company aircraft and the building facilities.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Vacuum and wipe the aircraft interior and exterior daily as required.
- Wash exteriors as directed.
- Assist with moving aircraft as required.
- Bring any damage or defect on the aircraft to the attention of the Crew Chief.
- Order any required cleaning supplies needed to perform duties.
- Foster a healthy working environment and promote a positive climate within the workplace.
- Perform and uphold Wasaya’s Customer Care Commitments to both internal and external customers.
- Any other related duties as assigned
Minimum Skills and Qualifications
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work independently in a busy environment.
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Able to work in a team environment, as well as unsupervised.
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally always.
- The ability to communicate in Oji-Cree or Ojibway is an asset.
- Previous airline experience is an asset.
- Experience with and/or knowledge of First Nations Organizations is an asset.
Physical Requirements

Ability to lift or move up to 75lbs.

Manual dexterity is required to use desktop computers and peripherals.
