Job Title: CNC Router Operator
Job Type: Full-Time
Hours: 42–48 per week
Salary: Based on experience and skills
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Router Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to perform precision machining operations, primarily working with plastic materials. You will work closely with blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to ensure high-quality production.
Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC router machines for precision machining.

Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining requirements.

Select and install appropriate cutting tools.

Adjust machine settings and monitor machining operations for quality and accuracy.

Load and unload plastic sheets (up to 40 lbs) into the machine.

Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.

Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines.
Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year of experience operating CNC router machines.

Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of machining principles.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

Proficiency with CAD software such as Illustrator and VCarve; experience with SolidWorks is an asset.

Experience in plastic fabrication is a strong advantage.
