Job Description:

Cash Management Services (CMS) in Small Business Banking ("SBB") is responsible for delivering and managing the tools that our business customers rely on to issue and receive payments and manage their cash flow. Our team is crucial in supporting customers seeking Cash Management products and services.

Currently, our services are accessible via Web Business Banking as well as TDBC and include products such as Wire Payment, Electronic Funds Transfer services, Express Deposit and Remote Deposit Capture.

This position is responsible for the efficient Sales of all cash management products and services for the Small Business Banking segment. The team reports directly to the Team Manager of CMS Sales. The incumbent should be an independent, self-managed professional who enjoys developing new sales opportunities in a fast-paced, competitive environment.

Job Requirements:

Customers :

  • Excellent organization skills to sell, support and onboard a range of Cash Management products
  • Exceptional negotiation & remote channel sales skills to effectively manage sales conversations
  • Ensure clients are fully educated and trained on product functionality and support contacts for Cash Management Products
  • Ensure clear and concise messages are on all forms of communication (emails, verbal, etc.) to our partners & clients alike

Business Operations :

  • Efficiently manage the referral pipeline ensuring customer contacts are initiated within business SLA, proper follow ups are completed, and all activity is tracked in BBHub per process
  • Meet individual goals for referrals actioned, SLA, close ratio and account compliance
  • Identify product cross selling opportunities to contribute to overall Business targets
  • Ensure customer profiles are AML compliant by following the documented KYC/KYB process and ensuring all profile deficiencies identified by compliance review partners are remediated with speed & accuracy (first time right).
  • Liaise with the Cash Management Product group in review of non-standard customer requirements, thus ensuring the proper approvals are in place and onboarding is compliant
  • Ensure accurate billing for all new set-ups
  • Coordinate the timely completion of onboarding of new accounts/services including approval of new set-ups completed by ops team to ensure first time right.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend realistic and actionable ideas to increase sales effectiveness

Additional Information:

  • A minimum of 3 years of proven Telephone Sales experience
  • Strong written, verbal and listening skills as well as a proven sales record
  • Cash Management knowledge and/or Call Centre experience is a strong asset
  • Exceptional customer service skills with ability to de-escalate customer concerns
  • Strong knowledge of KYC/KYB process for business banking customers
  • Ability to think strategically and develop tactical initiatives that support the Business Bank
  • Attention to detail and the ability to accurately process work
  • An enthusiastic team player and willing to take an active role in campaigns and business building initiatives
  • Bilingualism in both English and French would be considered an asset for this role
