**Trade Marketing Specialist (6 Month Contract)
Location: Vancouver, BC / Hybrid** Staffing Placement Opportunity Qualifications The successful candidate should demonstrate the following qualifications and experience:
- A university degree or diploma in a related discipline such as business or marketing.
- 3+ years of recent, related experience in consumer trade marketing/customer marketing.
- Experience in marketing, advertising, and branding, with a strong emphasis on retail marketing.
- CPG experience is an asset.
- An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
- An existing (at time of submission) and ongoing contract with the candidate.
Preferred Skills
- Solid knowledge of principles, concepts, and practices in retail marketing.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze business situations and develop solutions.
- Proven experience in delivering consumer-centric marketing.
- Demonstrated creativity and innovation.
- Experience in agency management (advertising, media, experiential, merchandising).
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines, multitask, and maintain strong attention to detail.
- Flexibility to adapt and work around dynamic schedules.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong computer skills (MS Office Suite, Adobe, web-based programs).
- Understanding of the B.C. gaming industry is an asset.
SERVICES
The Successful Candidate Will
- Work closely with the Key Account team to drive the implementation of the lottery trade marketing strategy in collaboration with Omni Marketing, Lottery Product, Field Sales, and Operational Teams.
- Be accountable for the end-to-end development of promotional creative assets, operational logistical plans, and in-trade activation for Key Account initiatives. Act as liaison between creative resources (internal & external), Operations, Channel, and the Key Account team.
- Coordinate the execution of the Lotto Express retail strategy in collaboration with Lottery Operations and Field Sales teams.
- Collect, manage, and maintain Key Account partner promotional capabilities such as partner promotional calendars, creative assets, and spec sheets, and disseminate key information to internal stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes within Lottery Operations to ensure smooth planning and execution of all retail promotions.
- Provide key insights and recommendations to the Manager, Trade Marketing regarding opportunities to evolve tactics, improve results, or generate incremental revenues.
- Proactively stay informed about retail industry trends, sharing best practices and insights across the business.
- Perform other tasks as reasonably required by the Project Manager.
