Keep MCG’s three campuses connected and running. You’ll be the go-to for hardware, software, network, and classroom technology support — with occasional travel between campuses and a mandate to improve how technology works for our instructors and staff.
02 What you'll do
01
Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for staff and instructor hardware and software issues
02
Maintain and troubleshoot network infrastructure across Calgary, Red Deer, and Cold Lake campuses
03
Manage device provisioning, software licenses, and IT asset inventory
04
Support classroom AV systems, projectors, and digital learning tools
05
Coordinate with vendors and external IT service providers as needed
06
Document IT processes and build a self-serve knowledge base for common issues
03 What you'll bring
Diploma or degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related technical field
Minimum 2 years in a helpdesk, IT support, or systems administration role
Solid knowledge of Windows environments, networking fundamentals, and Microsoft 365
Patient, clear communicator with non-technical users
Valid driver’s license (occasional campus travel required)
Eligible to work in Canada

CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications
+02
Experience supporting educational technology platforms (LMS, SIS)
+03
Familiarity with VoIP, security cameras, or campus infrastructure systems
