We are looking for a Production Support Specialist for the Transcontinental Interweb plant in Boucherville. This person will be responsible for supporting the Customer Service and Prepress Customer Services teams in bringing projects to production. They will combine covers and create files in the integrated system, in addition to managing directories on the web portal and tracking customer file submissions.

Responsibilities:

When your actions lead to success:

  • Optimize production by grouping several files (Combos) to maximize the use of raw materials.
  • Create and write work files in the system when orders are confirmed, planning all production steps to ensure optimal performance.
  • Reserve the necessary raw materials to ensure their availability at the time of production.
  • Ensure the entry of PDF files and follow up with the customer according to established deadlines.
  • Manage users and directories of the Insite web portal, including creation, configuration, maintenance, and necessary adjustments.
  • Perform any other related tasks to effectively support production.

Qualifications:

When your expertise drives us:

  • College diploma (D.E.C.) or equivalent
  • Relevant experience in a similar position
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Globe-Tek, and Insite software is an asset
  • Knowledge of prepress systems and good knowledge of the graphic chain
  • Fluency in French and English, both spoken and written (regular exchanges with stakeholders located outside Canada)
  • Attention to detail, excellent learning ability, analytical and problem-solving skills, sense of priorities, and good stress management
