We are looking for a full-time Intermediate Instrumentation & Controls Engineer to join our team. RESPONSIBILITIES: Field instrumentation and control system design and control strategy development Prepare technical documentation required for the execution of projects, including but not limited to: standard specifications, design criteria, P&IDs, schematics, loop drawings, instrument datasheets, wiring diagrams, layout drawings, installation details, control narratives, network diagrams, cable schedule, instrument list, equipment list Development and management of instrumentation and control system procurement packages Review shop drawings to ensure conformity with engineering designs QUALIFICATIONS: Registered with or eligible for registration with APEGA as a P.Eng, or P.L. Eng, 5+ years working specifically within the I&C/Automation engineering discipline Some project engineering experience is considered an asset Previous experience with both the FEED and detailed design processes is considered an asset Good interpersonal skills and ability to work within a multi-disciplinary Be available for field work as needed (~5%) All applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada, be a resident, and residing in Calgary or be willing to relocate to Calgary, to be considered for the position.
