Description We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Technology Manager to lead our Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Privileged Access Management (PAM) initiatives across the organization. This role will be responsible for overseeing identity governance, access controls, and privileged account security, while also developing a forward-looking strategy for Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) in collaboration with application teams.
Location: Mississauga, Hybrid
Reports To: CISO
Direct Reports: 1–3
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage enterprise-wide IAM and PAM programs, ensuring secure and compliant identity lifecycle processes.
- Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for CIAM, aligning with industry standards and business needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to drive adoption and integration of IAM solutions.
- Oversee onboarding and offboarding workflows, access provisioning, and role-based access controls.
- Implement automation and AI-driven enhancements to IAM processes for scalability and efficiency.
- Manage and mentor a small team of IAM professionals (1–3 direct reports).
- Drive change management initiatives to support IAM transformation across the organization.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations related to identity and access.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience managing IAM, PAM, CIAM, and IAM governance solutions.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an IAM Manager.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Information Security or IAM.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Demonstrated success in leading teams and managing change across complex environments.
- Deep understanding of IAM process workflows including user onboarding/offboarding.
- Experience with automation and AI technologies in IAM is highly desirable.
Preferred Skills
- Certifications in IAM/PAM technologies (e.g., CISSP, CISM, Microsoft, Okta, SailPoint).
- Familiarity with cloud identity solutions and zero trust architectures.
- Experience working in regulated industries or with compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO, NIST, GDPR).
