DESCRIPTION
YOUR ROLE
As a payroll clerk, you will be responsible for gathering, calculating, entering, and verifying payroll data on a daily basis, in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. You will organize this information before submitting it, via the computerized system, for the bi-monthly payroll processing. You will also maintain regular communication with employees and supervisors, who are considered internal clients. Additionally, you will perform any other related tasks assigned to you.

Work experience (years) : 3-5 years
Written French : Intermediate
Spoken French : Intermediate

REQUESTED SKILLS
DO YOU HAVE THE PROFILE?
- Professional diploma in secretarial studies, or an equivalent combination of education and/or relevant experience.
- One (1) to two (2) years of experience in payroll or any equivalent combination of experience. The absence of a diploma may be compensated by more experience.
- Bilingual (English and French). Knowledge of the Cree language is considered an asset.
- Excellent computer skills: proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe.
- Familiarity with Ceridian’s Dayforce HCM payroll system is an asset.
- Punctuality and ability to multitask;
- Demonstrates autonomy, discretion, and the ability to handle multiple files simultaneously.

Air Creebec est une compagnie aérienne régionale basée à Waskaganish, au Québec. Elle exploite des vols réguliers, nolisés et des services de fret vers plusieurs destinations au Québec et en Ontario. Ses principales bases se trouvent aux aéroports de Val-d’Or, Montréal et Timmins, ainsi que des centres à Waskaganish, Chisasibi et Moosonee.
Fondée en juin 1982, la compagnie a effectué son premier vol le 5 juillet. À l’époque, les Cris détenaient 51% de l’entreprise, Austin Airways possédant les 49% restants. En 1988, les Cris ont acquis les actifs restants, devenant seuls propriétaires, une transaction commerciale majeure pour un groupe autochtone au Canada.
Aujourd’hui, Air Creebec emploie plus de 400 personnes, dont environ un tiers issus des Premières Nations. Notre flotte de 21 appareils inclut des Dash 8-300, Dash 8-100, King Air 100 et HS748 cargo. -Nous visons plus haut!
• Air Creebec is a regional airline based in Waskaganish, Quebec. It operates scheduled, charter, and freight services to destinations in Quebec and Ontario. Its main bases are in Val-d’Or, Montreal, and Timmins, with hubs in Waskaganish, Chisasibi, and Moosonee.
Founded in June 1982, the airline’s first flight was on July 5. At the time, the Cree owned 51% of the company, with Austin Airways holding 49%. In 1988, the Cree fully acquired the company, marking a significant milestone for Indigenous business in Canada.
Today, Air Creebec employs over 400 people, about one-third of whom are First Nations. Its fleet of 21 aircraft includes Dash 8-300, Dash 8-100, King Air 100, and HS748 cargo planes. “We Aim Higher”
