Application Territory Manager

We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Territory Manager – HVAC to support customers and drive sales growth within the Quebec region. This role combines technical HVAC expertise with territory sales management, working closely with customers, sales teams, engineers, and contractors to recommend and support HVAC system solutions.

The successful candidate's responsibilities will include:

  • Support HVAC customers with quoting, system layout, equipment selection, and sales assistance.
  • Recommend HVAC products and systems based on performance, application, energy efficiency, and budget requirements.
  • Collaborate with Sales Representatives, consulting engineers, and contractors on new construction and retrofit projects.
  • Provide technical support for HVAC applications, including system configuration, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Deliver hands-on and virtual training sessions for customers, representatives, and partners.
  • Develop and present technical presentations and documentation for customers, sales teams, and leadership.
  • Contribute to marketing tools, software, and application guides that support product positioning and system design.
  • Partner with the R&D team to provide field insights that support new product development and improvements.
  • Manage a defined sales territory by supporting strategic accounts, tracking project pipelines, identifying market trends, and meeting sales targets.
  • Serve as a Product Champion for designated HVAC product lines by driving product awareness, delivering training, gathering competitive insights, and supporting lifecycle strategies.

The ideal candidate for this position will have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 5–10+ years of experience in the HVAC industry (sales, operations, or technical roles).
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems (commercial and/or residential).
  • Experience working with contractors, distributors, and mechanical engineers.
  • Proven track record in B2B sales or territory management.
  • Experience managing geographic territories and achieving revenue targets.
  • Knowledge of HVAC equipment, controls, and system design fundamentals.
  • Experience delivering product training, demonstrations, or technical presentations.
  • Understanding of HVAC standards, codes, and energy efficiency regulations (ASHRAE and local codes).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Fluency in French is required.
