Job Description

Play a strategic role in the digital transformation of construction projects by leading the implementation of BIM and VDC processes from the bidding phase. You will serve as the link between client requirements, technical teams, and external partners to ensure innovative execution aligned with project objectives.

What you will do :

  • Develop the BIM Management Plan and key processes for the design and bidding phases.

  • Analyze client requirements and integrate them into bidding strategies. Position the VDC service as a value-added partner by creating a compelling service offering.

  • Collaborate with technical teams to define VDC best practices.

  • Manage and grow a team of VDC coordinators and integrators.

  • Ensure the quality and timely delivery of project outputs.

  • Coordinate with partners (designers, subcontractors, etc.) to ensure alignment of objectives.

  • Promote a culture of innovation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.

  • Participate in cost evaluation and strategic project planning.

  • Be an ambassador of innovation at Pomerleau and with external stakeholders.

This role could be for you if you have :

What you will bring:

  • A technical degree in architecture, civil engineering, MEP, or building construction (a bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or construction management is considered an asset).

  • Relevant experience in design or engineering management within a collaborative project environment.

Are You the Right Fit?

  • Bachelor’s or technical degree in engineering, architecture, computer science, or equivalent, or relevant industry experience.

  • At least 12 years of experience in the building design/construction sector.

  • Strong understanding of the BIM Protocol and its implementation.

  • Good knowledge of design tools and collaboration platforms used in the industry.

Skills:

  • Strong communication skills, essential for multidisciplinary teamwork.
  • Ability to build and motivate a high-performing, engaged, and driven team.
  • Organized and methodical in planning and allocating resources for BIM projects.
  • Ability to set, manage, and prioritize tasks effectively in a constantly evolving environment.
