  • Plan and coordinate team & business partner operations events and advisor events such as National Advisory Board.
  • Manage the planning functions for Wealth Platforms, ensuring seamless collaboration between various departments.
  • Develop funding and budget recommendations to support aligned teams and leaders.
  • Contribute to the business plan for current and future years.
  • Plays a pivotal role in fostering cross-functional collaboration, serving as the cohesive force across Wealth Platforms.
  • Foster the evolution of team culture, including engagement and identifying opportunities for efficiency.

  • Plan and execute initiatives, ranging from the Dealer Commitment Strategy to supporting the Pinnacle project.
  • Coordinate, analyze, and monitor data integrity, resolving issues related to data for projects and departmental initiatives.
  • Publish required reports according to established timelines and manage meeting agendas and action items.
  • Support go-to-market strategies under the Canada Life umbrella.

What you will bring

  • 5+ years in financial services or business management role.
  • Education acquired through a university degree or college certification.
  • Strategic thinker with an equally strong tactical ability.
  • Able to connect disparate bits of information to create a holistic viewpoint and understanding.
  • Ability to ideate and explore a broad base of new areas of opportunity before additional resources are tapped – efficient with limited resources.
  • Proven ability to gain consensus and to drive for positive outcomes.
  • Track record of delivery and results.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Understands the mechanics of a substantial Distribution organization.
  • Stay apprised of industry and regulatory changes and competitive landscape.
  • Has wide access to data and key decision makers across the organization – comfortable with diving into any area of the business or product.
  • Understands the business environment and internal/external customer needs, and identifies business opportunities that create a competitive advantage.
  • Able to foster collaborative relationships, engage and inspire the right outcome through partnerships and mutual respect.
  • Drives results and contributes to change processes that improve organizational performance and creates a culture of accountability.
  • Able to assess and prioritize work, identify key issues and manage multiple projects at any given time through efficiency and attention to detail.
  • Inspires a vision that adapts to new realities, articulating meaningful expectations and creating clear pathways to desired outcomes.
  • Remains focused, composed, and optimistic – resilient, adaptable and able to anticipate hurdles.
