If you're a registered mental health professional who lights up when working with children, teens, or adults, and you truly want the opportunity to make a meaningful difference and grow in your field, keep reading...
Moose Jaw Psychology Services is a private practice built differently. We're adding a therapist to our team who wants to do exceptional clinical work without drowning in the administrative parts of the job that have nothing to do with helping people.
Here's what makes us different:
You didn't get into this field to be buried in admin work and scheduling chaos. You got into it to create real change in people's lives. We protect your time for exactly that: the clinical work that uses your training, your insight, and your passion.
What your days actually look like:
- Evidence-based therapy with children, teens, adults, or the mix that fits your strengths
- Treatment plans that reflect your clinical judgment , not a one-size-fits-all template
- Opportunity to show up as your best self because we handle the logistics
- Variety and challenge that keep you learning, not stuck repeating the same interventions
How we invest in your growth:
- Specialized training tailored to where you want to develop
- Monthly peer consultation that solves actual clinical challenges
- Training in the modalities you're excited about : play therapy, trauma-focused work, adolescent interventions, adult therapies, whatever drives you
- A team committed to continuous development , not just talking about it. You have to want to grow.
The practical stuff:
- Full-time, salary with competitive compensation (we want the best and reward accordingly), dependent on designation, education, training and experience with regular opportunities for increases and bonuses.
- Flexible scheduling because there's more to life than work, and we mean it
- A vibrant, collaborative team that actually supports each other
- Opportunities for growth and advancement in a fast-growing practice
Who thrives here:
You're sharp , confident , and have high emotional intelligence . You're passionate about your work and energized by helping others . You demand excellence from yourself and welcome constructive feedback because you know that's how you grow. You're accountable for outcomes, resilient when things get tough, and a fast learner who adapts quickly. You can work effectively and independently but also love collaborating with colleagues who challenge and support you.
Most importantly? You're organized , have strong work ethic , communicate clearly , and take ethical practice seriously because that's non-negotiable in this work.
Requirements:
- Registered with a recognized regulatory body (Saskatchewan College of Psychologists, Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers, Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association, or another recognized regulatory body)
- Minimum of 1-5 years of clinical experience (we'll consider those in provisional/supervisory periods, supervision available for the right candidate)
- Current liability insurance
- Clear criminal record check
Think this role was tailor-made for you?
Email your cover letter and resume to frances@moosejawpsychology.ca with subject line "APPLICATION- Firstname Lastname".
