Your role As a Warehouse Associate at Saab Canada, Inc., you play a vital role in keeping our operations running smoothly. You'll be responsible for supporting day-to-day warehouse, inventory, and shipping activities, ensuring that parts and materials are handled accurately and delivered on time.
What you will be doing:
- Managing and maintaining our internal inventory database with precision
- Supporting the Warehouse Manager and collaborating closely with the Logistics Coordinator
- Preparing domestic and international shipments, including hazardous materials (HAZMAT), while ensuring full compliance with Transport Canada regulations
- Liaising with suppliers and service providers to coordinate shipments and inventory needs
- Receiving and unpacking deliveries, verifying materials against documentation
- Conducting inventory audits and stocktaking activities
- Working collaboratively with stakeholders across Saab to ensure seamless operations
- Contributing to a small, close-knit team where flexibility and shared responsibility are valued

What you would bring:
- A high school diploma
- 2–3 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, shipping, or receiving (candidates with less experience who demonstrate the right attitude are also encouraged to apply)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, email, and Teams
- Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail
- The ability to manage paperwork and documentation accurately
- Physical capability to handle lifting up to 20 kg, work on ladders, assemble crates, and remain standing for extended periods
- Comfort working outdoors in varying weather conditions during shipment activities
- A valid driver's licence with a clean record, and the ability to operate a company vehicle when required
- Access to a personal vehicle for commuting to the worksite
- The ability to work independently with minimal supervision while being a strong team player
- Flexibility and adaptability in a collaborative small-team environment
Nice to have:
- Forklift certification (training will be provided if needed)
- Experience working in a small team where roles and priorities may shift
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around security protection.
