About You:
As the Web & Digital Integration Student, you will bring strong technical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. You are passionate about web development, digital experiences and creating seamless user interactions across multiple platforms. You thrive in a collaborative environment where you can contribute to real-world digital projects while continuing to build your skills. Whether you’re helping consolidate stand-alone micro sites into the main (https://landscapeontario.com?utm\_source=chatgpt.com)Landscape Ontario website presence, migrating email templates between marketing platforms, or supporting front-end UI enhancements across the organization’s digital properties, your ability to learn quickly, communicate effectively, and adapt across evolving technologies will be essential to your success in this role.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:
Website Consolidation

  • Audit existing micro sites (including but not limited to; https://fusionlandscapeprofessional.ca, https://watersmartirrigationprofessional.ca, and https://greencareerscanada.ca) to inventory content, assets, and functionality
  • Plan and execute the migration of micro site content into landscapeontario.com, maintaining SEO value and URL integrity
  • Ensure consistent design language and navigation across merged sections
  • Identify and resolve broken links, duplicate content, and orphaned assets
  • Coordinate with team members on content ownership and redirect strategies

Email Template Migration

  • Migrate existing Mailchimp email templates into HubSpot, preserving layout, branding, and responsive behaviour
  • Test templates across email clients (Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail) and devices
  • Document template library for future use by the communications team
  • Assist with any list or campaign migration tasks as required

Front-End & UI Work

  • Implement design updates and UI improvements across WordPress-based properties
  • Build or refine page layouts using block editors, page builders (Elementor), and custom HTML/CSS as needed
  • Assist with accessibility improvements and mobile responsiveness
  • Support the team with ad hoc web requests, landing pages, and content updates

Requirements:
Required

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a post-secondary program in web development, interactive media, computer science, or a related field
  • Solid working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Comfortable working with WordPress (page editing, themes, plugins)
  • Strong attention to detail and good judgment about design consistency
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks

Nice to Have

  • Experience with HubSpot and/or Mailchimp
  • Familiarity with responsive email design (MJML, Litmus, or similar)
  • Exposure to Git / version control workflows
  • Basic understanding of SEO best practices and redirect management
  • Experience with Elementor or similar page builders
  • Any exposure to PHP, REST APIs, or headless CMS concepts is a bonus
