Job Description Description de poste – Coordonnateur adjoint du programme

OBJECTIF DU POSTE : En soutenant le coordonnateur du programme, le coordonnateur adjoint est chargé d’aider à élaborer le

programme du ministère d’été, à mettre en œuvre, à gérer les programmes de camp, et de donner la formation nécessaire,

d’encadrer et de diriger les moniteurs.

FONCTIONS CARACTÉRISTIQUES DU POSTE : Le coordonnateur adjoint du programme est considéré comme un dirigeant

expérimenté. On s’attend à ce qu’il assume ses fonctions avec respectabilité et tact. Voici une liste générale de ses fonctions.

Taches Principales

  • Accorder la priorité au bien-être spirituel et à la sécurité physique des moniteurs et des campeurs;
  • Assurer le déroulement des séances de dévotion à chaque jour ;
  • Superviser et encadrer les moniteurs;
  • Veiller à consigner des statistiques sur la foi et les communiquer à l’adjoint administrateur du camp;
  • Aider les moniteurs à s’occuper de campeurs difficiles;
  • Gérer des activités offertes aux campeurs (arts plastiques, sports, étude biblique, équipe de louange, etc);
  • Veiller à préparer le camp de jour le matin à chaque jour;
  • Veiller au respect de toutes les règles de sécurité;
  • S'assurer que toutes les procédures de sécurité concernant COVID-19 sont respectées.
  • Connaître la procédure en cas d’incendie; s’assurer que les moniteurs réagissent rapidement aux exercices d’évacuation en

cas d’incendie;

  • Être ponctuel à toutes les activités;
  • Signaler immédiatement tout accident ou toute maladie au SDOJ;
  • Prévenir tout dommage à la propriété du camp de jour.
  • Signaler au Coordonnateur de l’équipe affectée au programme toute personne qui endommage volontairement les biens du

camp;

  • Après le départ des campeurs, aider le personnel à nettoyer et à organiser à chaque jour;
  • Aider à la mise en place et au nettoyage pour chaque camp;
  • Aider à diriger les séances de dévotion du personnel;
  • Ne pas oublier que le rôle du Coordonnateur Adjoint est de soutenir le Coordonnateur du Programme.Remplacer un moniteur

lorsque ce dernier est malade ou a quitté son emploi;

  • À la fin de la saison, peut être appelé à aider à la fermeture du camp de jour (inventaire, nettoyage et entretien général);
  • Effectuer d’autres tâches assignées.

Job Description – Assistant Program Coordinator JOB PURPOSE: The Assistant Program Coordinator is responsible for assisting and supporting the Program Coordinator, in

implementing the program ministry during the summer camp and the supervision and coaching of counsellors.

RESPONSIBLE TO: Program Coordinator/AYS

CHARACTERISTIC JOB DUTIES: The Assistant Program Coordinator is considered an experienced leader; it is expected they

perform their roles respectably and with tact. The following is a general list of duties related to this position.

Main Duties

  • Holds the spiritual welfare and physical safety of the campers and counsellors as their first priority.
  • Ensures devotions are done every day.
  • Supervises and coaches counsellors.
  • Ensures faith statistics are recorded and reported to the Camp Assistant.
  • Assisting counsellors with difficult campers.
  • Manages activities (i.e., craft, sports, Bible lessons, worship team, etc)
  • Ensure camp is ready in the morning every day;
  • Ensure that all safety procedures are adhered to.
  • Ensure that all safety procedures concerning COVID-19 are adhered to;
  • Knows the fire procedure in case of a fire; ensures counsellors quickly respond to fire drills.
  • Reports illness or accidents to DYS.
  • Protect day camp property from unnecessary damages. Report the names of any person who wilfully damage day camp

property to the Program Coordinator.

  • Assists in setting-up and cleaning of each day camp.
  • Help to conduct staff devotions.
  • Understands he/she is a support to the Program Coordinator
  • Cover a counsellor position in the event a counsellor is sick or terminated from day camp
  • At the end of the camping season they may be asked to assist in closing Day Camp (i.e. camp inventory, cleaning & general

maintenance)

  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • The selected candidate will be required to undergo a criminal background check. Hiring is conditional on satisfactory results.

Compensation The target hiring range for this position is $17.86 to $22.32 with a maximum of $26.79.

Placement in the salary range will be based on factors such as market conditions, internal equity, and candidate experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
