Wage: $20.03/hour
Employment Type: Temporary Full-Time
Schedule: Continental Rotating (Days/Nights/Weekends)

Responsibilities As a Security Guard at North York General Hospital , you will play a key role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
- Conduct regular patrols of hospital grounds, entrances, and parking lots.
- Monitor surveillance systems and alarm panels to ensure facility safety.
- Control and log access to restricted areas in compliance with hospital policies.
- Respond promptly and appropriately to incidents and emergencies.
- Provide assistance and directions to staff, patients, and visitors.
- De-escalate conflicts using non-violent crisis intervention techniques.
- Prepare and submit detailed incident reports as per Paladin standards.
- Collaborate with hospital personnel, first responders, and law enforcement when necessary
Requirements
- Valid Security License for the province of Ontario.
- Valid First Aid & CPR - Level C (from a WSIB-approved vendor).
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination (2 doses).
- Immunization records for Mumps, Measles, Rubella, Varicella, and two-step TB skin test.
- Valid G Class Driver's License.
- English fluency (oral and written).
- Must be able to work a Continental Rotating Schedule (days/nights/weekends).
