Join a dynamic team focused on transforming complex financial topics into engaging and accessible video content for a broad audience. This role centers on editing and optimizing both long-form YouTube videos and short-form content for platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and LinkedIn. You will collaborate closely with leadership to ensure each video maintains a consistent visual identity and effectively communicates key financial concepts, such as stock charts and market trends. The ideal candidate is passionate about storytelling, adept at using motion graphics, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where timely coverage of financial news is essential.
Deliverables
- Edit and assemble long-form educational YouTube videos and short-form clips for social media
- Incorporate motion graphics to clarify financial concepts and data visualizations
- Repurpose and optimize video content for multiple platforms, ensuring high retention and engagement
- Maintain consistent branding and visual style across all videos
- Collaborate with leadership to align content with educational objectives and audience needs
- Design compelling video thumbnails as needed
Requirements
- Proficiency with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve)
- Strong sense of visual storytelling and pacing
- Experience with motion graphics and data visualization techniques
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently on time-sensitive financial news topics
- Familiarity with YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram content best practices
- Knowledge of thumbnail design principles is a plus
- Experience with finance or business-related content preferred
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Availability for part-time, contract-based work
