What is the opportunity?
You will provide professional sales support to the Treasury Solutions Corporate and Capital Markets Team for RBC’s Corporate Client Group and Capital Markets client base relative to pricing Treasury and Cash Management products and services. This role contributes to unit sales objectives through the preparation and analysis of pricing & deposit contract renewals. With a continued focus on relationship building, revenue generation, and client loyalty, you are accountable for consistency and accuracy in pricing analysis, providing recommendations or for revenue generation, cost effectiveness, and operational/administrative effectiveness.
What will you do?
- Leverage industry knowledge, market insight and client philosophy with a view to developing learning opportunities and providing clear, insightful knowledge on RBC products and processes
- Preparation of volume and pricing analysis, including the modeling of scenarios as needed
- Contribute to discussions with Treasury Cash Managers regarding output from pricing analysis
- Meets service/support standards in delivery of administration activities and works towards all contracts current within 3 months of contract expiry
- Collection and trend / gap analysis of current balances / interest arrangements, product volumes / current price
- Completion of client pricing and deposit interest contracts as applicable
- Continuous proactive review and development of new and existing processes and tools which will improve team efficiency with service review process and recommends procedures to improve
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- Knowledge of the RBC Cash Management Products, emerging industry trends, and the ability to speak to broader RBC strategies, relevant industry/legislative issues
- Strong analytical skills and proven ability to match client need with product/structure solution
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including exacting attention to details related to complex and customized documentation requirements
- Ability to prioritize in managing multiple and sometimes conflicting time demands
- Excellent MS Excel and MS Word skills
- University/College education or equivalent work experience
Nice-to-have
- Bilingual (French/English)
- Knowledge of Cash Management Billing Analysis System (BCRMS)
