Regina Pats | Accounts Executive - Ticket Sales
About the role
The Regina Pats Hockey Club is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Executive, Ticket Sales to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue, ensuring client satisfaction, and contributing to overall growth of the Regina Pats. The Account Executive, Ticket Sales will primarily be responsible for full-menu selling which includes but is not limited to season ticket memberships, flex packages, group, premium, and single game tickets along with various other Pats ticket packages through cold calling on new and past purchasers, qualified lists and face-to-face meetings.
Major Responsibilities/Activities:

Identify, prospect and secure new business opportunities to meet and exceed sales targets through the sale of ticket packages.

Assist with the strategic management of ticket inventory.

Responsible for the fulfillment, renewal and retention of all ticket allocation (Season Memberships, Ticket Vouchers, Packages & Group Tickets).

Lead, perform and provide exceptional customer service to fans, sponsors and the public when assisting and fielding ticketing related questions and inquires and troubleshooting all issues, including inquiries as it relates to the My Pats Account.

Problem solve and troubleshoot ticketing issues and problems including ticket scanning/entry, digital entry and Account Manager access.

Work collectively and efficiently with the Manager of Ticket Operations as well as Brandt Centre Box Office staff, security, and guest relations staff to ensure all ticket policies and procedures are being followed to allow guests to efficiently enter the building and have an enjoyable game day experience. Perform other duties, including on game days, as assigned.
Required Skills
- Ability to work cohesively as a team player while also being a self-starter & the ability to work autonomously when needed.
- Desire to excel in the sports & entertainment industry.
- Previous experience in ticket and/or partnership consumer or B2B sales an asset.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment with an irregular work schedule to include all Regina Pats Home games, nights, weekends, and some holidays.
- Required to work prior to, during and post-game at all events.
- Proficiency in basic computer software programs (Microsoft Office, Teams, Zoom, Google Docs etc.).
- Ability to speak publicly and represent the Regina Pats in a professional manner.
- Strong English written and verbal communication skills required.
- Strong strategic thinking skills required.
- Ability to work under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in sport administration, business, marketing, or related field preferred.
- Strong conflict resolution, negotiation & customer service skills.
- Knowledge of the WHL & Junior Hockey considered an asset.

Essential Physical Demands & Working Environment:
- Must be able to access all seating areas to handle customer issues.
- Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, walk and climb stairs for an extended period of time.
- Ability to work off a computer/laptop screen for an extended period of time.
- Ability to work in various environments where noise levels differ.
