Context Are you a passionate of railway industry? Do you need a new challenge in your career? For our Mississauga office, we are looking for a System Interface Manager. This is a good opportunity to be part of a community of dynamic experts and be involved in a major railway project !

Being part of the system engineering team, your role will be to act as the primary contact for all interface-related issues from design, construction to commissioning.

Your Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integration of signaling and communications systems with existing and new infrastructure.
  • Support the preparation of Interface Control Documents.
  • Review of the 3rd Party Design to verify System and Interface Requirements are achieved.
  • Issue resolution between systems and civils.
  • Identify, understand and overcome installation challenges when developing the design.
  • Size pathways and raceway, considering the subsystems’ design.
  • Ensure the management system meets the requirements of the contract.
  • Take part of the development of applications that will ease the integration of the system.
  • Test the internal interface of the management system.
  • Participate in technical meetings with the members of the project.
  • Build a strong relationship with the client.

Your Profile

  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in system engineering.
  • Experience in system interface management.
  • Bachelor degree in Engineering.
  • Extensive understanding and/or prior experience with engineering lifecycles, delivery.
  • Familiar with Requirement Traceability Matrix (IBM Doors) and the Interface Registers tools.
  • Previous experience in construction or rail industries.
  • Good knowledge of civil engineering.
  • Knowledge of NFPA and Fire life safety is a plus.
  • Experience in BIM and associated tools is a plus.
  • Available to visit client site.
  • Autonomous, rigorous, delivery focus.
  • Self-motivated and result-oriented.
