About the Opportunity:
The Accounts Payable Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring accurate, secure, and timely processing of payments across the organization. You will support core AP functions including invoice processing, vendor management, payment execution, and month‑end close activities.
This position is ideal for someone who is detail‑oriented, tech‑savvy, adaptable, and thrives in a fast‑paced, collaborative finance environment.
Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable Operations
- Process EFT, wire, ACH, and international payments daily across multiple banking platforms and currencies.
- Review, verify, and process contractor payments and monthly invoices.
- Manage vendor invoices and employee expense submissions using modern AP automation tools.
- Follow up on payment-related inquiries promptly, ensuring excellent internal and external service.
- Reconcile company credit cards, vendor statements, and identify discrepancies with accuracy and urgency.
- Follow up with vendors for cost verification, pricing issues, and missing documentation.
Financial Reporting & Controls
- Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing activities, including accruals and audit support.
- Maintain organized digital records aligned with compliance requirements and internal controls.
- Support auditors by preparing reports, documentation, and reconciliations.
Administrative & Team Support
- Provide professional, timely communication with vendors, contractors, and internal teams.
- Perform general accounting and administrative duties as required.
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative Finance team culture.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- University or College Degree in Business, Accounting, ora related field preferred.
- 2+ years of Accounts Payable or Finance/Accounting experience.
- Experience performing full-cycle AP in a fast-paced environment.
- Hands-on experience with EFT, Wire, and/or ACH payment processes.
Technical Skills
- Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite is a strong asset).
- Familiarity with employee expense and AP automation platforms (e.g.,Concur, Expensify, Coupa,Tipalti, SAP Concur, Airbase).
- Strong MS Office skills—Excel, Outlook, Word; ability to use AI-enabled productivity tools.
- Tech-savvy and curious about new technologies including AI, automation, SaaS, and PaaS platforms.
