We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Payable/Receivable Representative to join our finance team. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions related to both accounts payable and accounts receivable. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Responsibilities When your actions lead to success:

  • Ensure all invoices are input in both JTS and Peoplesoft systems and sent to customer on timely and accurate basis.
  • Ensure proper taxes are applied to invoices.
  • Assist accounting team in completing month-end/financial reporting tasks
  • Pricing of paper on a daily basis and transferring pricing from inventory system to PeopleSoft system.
  • Fixing any match exceptions pertaining to paper pricing and discrepancies on purchase orders so invoice can be processed for payment on a timely basis.
  • Process purchase requisitions making sure proper supplier is used, confirming pricing and delivery with suppliers.
  • Follow up on orders for internal customers if order is not received.
  • Making sure proper paperwork is attached to purchase orders once order is completed and then filing the order.
  • Distribution of monthly SMR (sales) reports.
  • Help with quarterly inventory counting.
  • Do deposits when necessary, emailing all information to SSC.
  • Picking up and dropping off mail at Post Office.

Qualifications When your expertise drives us:

  • Post-secondary education in accounting or finance preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in accounts payable and/or receivable.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) is an asset.
