Learn More About What We Do The Opportunity The Program Manager – Contracts plays a highly visible role, focusing on the successful execution of contracts to support customer order fulfillment. This position is responsible for supporting proposal preparation and contract negotiations, leading contract administration and customer interactions, and ensuring contracts are executed in full compliance with company policies, contractual obligations, and customer requirements.
This position will coordinate closely with the Sales, Engineering, Production, and Customer Service teams.
This position can be located in our Kelowna, BC OR Ottawa, ON office. As a Program Manager - Contracts, Responsibilities Include
- Perform customer contract review in conjunction with Sales, Legal, Production, and Engineering.
- Meet the contractual compliance obligations for the customer as well as legislative, and environmental requirements
- Design product scope and product requirements for contracts ensuring the final product meets stakeholders' expectations
- Participate in product development prioritization decisions ensuring that the program aligns with the overall business objectives
- Perform budget planning and analysis to ensure each program stays on track financially and achieves its goals within the allocated resources
- Plan, organize, and oversee technical projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they align with project charters, customer expectations, and timelines.
- Track project progress, manage schedules, and prioritize resources to ensure milestones are met on time and within budget.
- Maintain the highest standards of customer service by immediately attending to and resolving issues.
- Facilitate communication between project teams, customers, and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and resolve issues proactively.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to monitor project dependencies and provide updates on project priorities and risks.
- Ensure all project deliverables meet the defined project scope, customer requirements, and organizational objectives.
- Support proposal preparation and resource planning by providing input on timelines and technical feasibility.
- Maintain accurate project records and documentation for tracking and reporting purposes.
What You Bring Candidate Must Have’s:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in computer science, business, engineering or related technical discipline
- PMP Certification or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years experience managing multi-stakeholder projects within the hi-tech or aerospace industry
- Experience driving customer engagement in business development
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, or equivalent)
This Will Make You Stand Out
- Aviation industry experience within a technical discipline such as engineering or flight operations
- Experience in the execution of contracts within the aerospace domain
- Familiarity with satellite communications or avionics systems
