About Dominion Dynamics

Dominion Dynamics is a Canadian defense technology company building AI-powered command and control solutions for Arctic sovereignty and autonomous multi-domain operations. We are a mission-first startup. Our team is united by the belief that Canada must develop its own sovereign capabilities to defend itself and its allies. If you are looking for meaningful work that directly contributes to national security, you will find it here.

The Role

We are seeking a Business and Operations Analyst to take on a broad, high-impact mix of finance, operations, systems setup, proposal writing, and creative execution. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, values execution over titles, and can adapt quickly as priorities evolve.

Military experience, whether through service or defense-sector work, is essential. This role requires the ability to operate with discipline, focus, and mission intent. You will work directly with the COO, building the operational backbone that supports our programs, proposals, and growth.

What You Will Do

  • Support financial tracking, budgeting, and forecasting for internal operations and external bids.
  • Design and implement processes, tools, and systems that increase efficiency across the company.
  • Research, draft, and deliver winning proposals for government and defense contracts.
  • Produce compelling presentations and visuals that clearly communicate our mission and capabilities.
  • Manage internal platforms for collaboration, reporting, and project execution.
  • Work across teams to ensure smooth delivery of high-priority projects.

What We Are Looking For

  • Military background (CAF, allied forces, or relevant defense-sector role).
  • Experience in finance, operations, or business analysis.
  • Strong writing skills for proposals and communications.
  • Ability to operate in a startup environment where speed, adaptability, and ownership matter most.
  • High proficiency with productivity and project management tools.
  • MBA or CPA designation is an asset.
  • Startup and technology sector experience is an asset.

How We Work

At Dominion Dynamics, your impact matters more than your title. We look for people who:

  • Align deeply with the mission and understand why this work matters.
  • Leave ego at the door and own problems, get things done, and help the team win.
  • Scale themselves quickly by learning new tools, taking initiative, and embracing hard challenges.
  • Earn trust and responsibility through output. Pedigree is respected but performance is rewarded.
  • Give and receive feedback well. Direct, respectful, and always focused on making the mission stronger.

Why Join Us?

You will not be a cog in a large system. You will be building the foundation of a company delivering programs of national importance. You will work at the intersection of defense, technology, and operations, with the chance to grow faster than you thought possible. We offer competitive salary and equity, so your success is directly tied to the company’s success. If you want to execute at speed, work on problems that matter, and be part of a mission bigger than any one person, we want to hear from you.

Compensation Range: CA$80K - CA$110K
