Compensation

$70,000-$85,000

Purpose

To effectively lead a procurement team to achieve procurement goals.

To contribute to the company's profitability and success by optimizing sourcing strategies and improving operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the procurement function.
  • Establish and refine procurement processes and procedures.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of procurement professionals.
  • Strategic Sourcing:
  • Lead a team to analyze market trends and identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
  • Negotiate with key suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
  • Work closely with merchandising managers, supply chain teams, finance, and other stakeholders.

Skills

  • Proven ability to manage and motivate teams
  • Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities
  • Proficiency in procurement principles and best practices
  • Knowledge of supply chain management concepts
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications (e.g., ERP systems, procurement software)
  • Data analysis and interpretation skills

Education

Bachelor's degree in related discipline or an additional 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree

Experience

7+ years of experience, of which at least 2 leading a team
