About the role
The Dealer Channel Manager performs the duties as assigned below.
- Develop and manage initiatives to achieve AOP for homecare dealer customer base.
- Collaborate with, and support Sales agent groups that represent Joerns to the dealer network.
- Progress and manage sales agent activities/strategies to achieve AOP for their territories and gain competitive market share.
- Conduct territory meetings at regular intervals (quarterly) to discuss progress, collect feedback, and develop actions for their territories.
- Be a product resource for Joerns sales agents and dealer customers as needed.
- Manage all conferences and events that pertain to the homecare dealer channel, and attend these events strategically as agreed upon with VP Sales and approved by North America Marketing.
- Communicate competitive market intelligence from the dealer channel back to VP Sales and Marketing Director and develop strategies to leverage opportunities.
- Assess dealer market regarding competitive products, pricing, contracts, marketing activities and go to market strategies.
- Point of approval for agent sample requests, and sale of agent samples.
- Travel strategically with sales agents in the field to collaborate with sales agents. Based on approval by VP Sales.
- Work with GPOs and RFPs in the homecare dealer channel to communicate their progress, develop growth strategies, and manage established agreements.
- Function as a channel representative for Joerns product portfolio and provide all relevant product feedback to Product Manager and Marketing Director.
Bachelors degree preferably with business and/or healthcare focus
- Proven work experience in sales
- Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up your sleeves to get the job
- Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams in a matrix organization
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Minimum 3 years of medical sales experience preferably in the Long Term Care market space
- Proficient with MS Office, MS Outlook and Hubspot CRM
- Demonstrates professionalism in working with internal and external associates – treating all issues and people fairly.
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to handle difficult or sensitive situations with diplomacy and tact.
- Approaches problems in a rational manner using sound strategies that ensure comprehensive understanding and effective resolution.
