CLINICAL SUPPORT CLERK (25-0000722)

Bargaining Unit: SEIU-HOSPITAL
Status: Part Time
Department: Mental Health Rehabilitation 1 East
Site: St. Joseph's Hospital
Shifts: Days
Rate of Pay: $26.11- $30.73 per hour

Qualifications:

  • Diploma from a College Secretarial Program, preferably Health Care Administration

  • Clerical experience within a healthcare environment and with UKG and Meditech applications an asset

  • Knowledge of medical terminology

  • Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office required

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

  • Demonstrated regular attendance at work

CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT

  • This position shall be conditional upon a satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC) where indicated, to ensure the absence of relevant criminal convictions.
  • Offers of employment made to external candidates are conditional upon providing proof of COVID-19 vaccination as per the SJCG Immunization Policy IMS-04-005 or proof of valid medical exemption, prior to the offered effective date. If proof of vaccination or valid medical exemption is not provided, the offer of employment is rescinded.
