Our Team
As a Manager in Data, Analytics and Automation, you will be a part of our Technology Consulting (Data, Analytics and Automation) practice within KPMG. This is a worldwide network of professionals who collaborate on a daily basis to create value from data. Enterprise Data Management integrates and is the connecting link with other data focused advisory services including Business Intelligence, Advanced Analytics, Digital Transformation, Enterprise Solutions and Data Security. We collaborate across service offerings on data driven solutions. And that is why Forrester Research has recently recognized KPMG as one of the most prominent advisory firms in Data & Analytics!

What you will do:

  • Creating and presenting AI and advanced analytics strategies, roadmaps and operating models
  • Identifying and prioritizing AI and analytics use cases aligned to business value
  • Designing AI-enabled solutions and target state architecture at a conceptual level (inputs, outputs, business logic and planning for development)
  • Developing business cases and value realization frameworks for AI initiatives
  • Facilitating ideation workshops to drive AI opportunity discovery and prioritization
  • Developing perspectives to support client AI technology needs
  • Supporting the design of responsible AI frameworks, including governance and risk considerations
  • Aligning AI initiatives with data strategy and enterprise data capabilities
  • Securing ‘trusted’ analytics by ensuring transparent and well-governed AI processes
  • Developing and utilizing technical and industry knowledge to resolve complex client challenges
  • Planning and executing advisory engagements including use case design, current state assessments, and future state strategy
  • Supporting business development through thought leadership, proposal development, and client presentations

What you bring to the role:

  • A completed MBA or Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Administration or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in AI design and strategy.
  • 5+ years of experience in a consulting environment.
  • Strong experience in AI use case development, analytics strategy, and business case design
  • Deep and broad understanding of current and future AI technologies
  • Understanding of AI/ML concepts and lifecycle
  • Familiarity with GenAI and emerging AI trends considered an asset
  • Strong ability to translate business problems into analytics and AI opportunities
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills
  • Collaborative mindset with interest in innovation and AI-led transformation
  • Must be able to travel locally and internationally based on client and project requirements

KPMG Ontario Region Pay Range Information

The expected base salary range for this position is $103,000 to $135,000 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant’s base salary within this range is based on the individual’s location, skills & competencies, and unique qualifications. In addition, KPMG offers a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards program.
