The primary focus of Service Centre Coordinator will involve ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of a service center by coordinating activities, managing resources alongside the lead hand, and supporting both customers and staff.
Key tasks will include:
- Create daily & weekly work schedules and communicate with workshop team and Lead Hands.
- Service job administration including Handling of all documentation related to workshop repairs, parts procurement and expediting, subcontracting of service work as required, completion and invoicing of service jobs, assist with warranty claims.
- Maintain weekly workshop schedules
- Utilizing our ALSO / OneService service system for time tracking
- Establish timely and efficient work order flow through weekly meetings with Lead Hands and Sales Team
- Coordinate daily activities, support sales team and customers.
- General office administration duties: interaction and communication with customers and ensuring service needs are met.
- Provide backup coverage for other coordinators as required
- Other duties as assigned by your direct Manager
- Support ISO, COR and QHSE requirements
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION DESIRED
Education (degree or years) and/or Certification/Registration:
- Post-Secondary Education and/or 3 - 5 years of practical experience.
Type and Length of Experience:
- 3 - 4 years’ experience in a Coordinator or Contract Administrator role
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Attributes Desired in Candidate:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to multi-task
- Strong organizational, oral, and written communication, analytical and interpersonal skills.
- High energy with high level of self-initiative and strong sense of urgency.
- High integrity.
- Computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Office).
- Ability to troubleshoot & solve problems and work independently.
- Safety mindset.
