About the role

The Role We are seeking a Site Superintendent to join Akash Homes in Edmonton, Alberta. This role is responsible for managing residential construction projects from excavation through to possession. You will oversee daily site activity, coordinate trades and suppliers, ensure homes are delivered on schedule and maintain the high quality standards Akash Homes is known for.

You’ll manage multiple homes at different stages of construction while coordinating trades, resolving issues quickly and ensuring every home meets our quality and safety standards. Top 3 Priorities for Your First 6 Months Deliver homes on schedule while maintaining Akash Homes’ construction and quality standards. Build strong working relationships with trade partners and internal teams to keep projects moving efficiently. Identify opportunities to improve site coordination, scheduling, and communication between field and office teams.

What You’ll Own Manage all phases of residential construction from excavation through possession. Coordinate trades, suppliers and inspections to maintain build schedules. Monitor job sites to ensure compliance with Alberta Building Code and OH&S requirements. Conduct regular site inspections and proactively address deficiencies. Complete pre possession walkthroughs and manage post possession deficiency work. Maintain clear communication with internal teams including Drafting, Estimating, Sales and Customer Experience. Represent Akash Homes professionally with homeowners, trade partners and inspectors. Maintain clean, organized and safe worksites across active construction projects

What You’ll Bring Experience supervising residential construction sites or managing homebuilding projects. Strong understanding of Alberta Building Code and residential construction practices. Ability to manage multiple homes at different stages of construction. Strong communication and problem solving skills when coordinating trades and resolving issues on site. Comfort working in a fast paced environment where priorities can shift quickly. A valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle to travel between construction sites. We’re less concerned about formal degrees and more interested in your ability to build well and deliver results. That said, the following would be considered an asset: Diploma or coursework in Construction Management, Building Science or a related field. Experience working with construction management software such as BuildPro.
