Your Responsibilities

  • Review constructor-supplied spare parts against project requirements.
  • Identify missing, insufficient, or misaligned spares based on O&M objectives.
  • Analyse system-level obsolescence plans provided by the constructor and develop a project-wide strategy aligned with the company’s criticality, operational risk, and maintenance objectives.
  • Categorize parts (critical/non-critical), define min/max levels based on maintenance strategy.
  • Estimate storage requirements (space, environmental, security) based on parts volume and nature.
  • Recommend onsite/offsite balance, just-in-time options.
  • Flag critical parts approaching end of life for bulk purchase before they become unavailable.
  • Track End-of-Life status, supplier support timelines, and industry alerts for all critical and at-risk parts.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in spare parts management, logistics, maintenance support or obsolescence planning.
  • Experience in maintenance.
  • Experience with heavy industry sector or transportation.
  • Good leadership skills to engage all the stakeholders.
  • Good communication skills.
