- Respond to and support customer inquiries through email, telephone, and in-person interactions in a professional and timely manner
- Interpret customer testing requirements and conduct research to ensure accurate service recommendations and solutions
- Prepare applicable documentation, log incoming test samples, and coordinate allocation to the appropriate laboratory departments
- Prepare accurate and customized customer quotations based on testing specifications and requirements
- Coordinate and prioritize workflow in collaboration with department supervisors to ensure efficient turnaround times and customer satisfaction
Education & Experience
- Related science or technology degree/diploma preferred, or a minimum of 2 years of related industry experience
- Experience working with and interpreting technical specifications considered an asset (ASTM, ASME, AWS, CWB, CSA, ISO, etc.)
- Experience preparing custom quotes based on technical specifications is also considered an asset
Technical, Professional & Organizational Skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of materials testing considered an asset
- Strong computer, research, analytical, and communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities with strong time management skills
