We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Apprentice Golf Professional to join our team and contribute to the continued success of our facility.

Location 639 Willow Park Dr SE, Calgary, AB T2J 0L6 Posted 2025-10-08 Deadline 2025-12-01 Job Summary The chosen candidate will play a key role in the daily operations of the golf facility, including, but not limited to, golf shop management, tournament coordination, member/guest services and instruction. This position is ideal for an Apprentice seeking to grow in a private club environment with a strong emphasis on member service, attention to detail, and long-term career development. Responsibilities

  • Provide world class service to members and guests, creating a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
  • Oversee and assist with daily golf operations, including tee time management, pace of play monitoring, and merchandise sales.
  • Support the planning, promotion, and execution of all club tournaments and events
  • Help manage golf shop operations, including sales, merchandising, inventory control, and special orders.
  • Enforce club policies and etiquette standards on the course and in the clubhouse.
  • Teach individual and group golf lessons to players of all ages and skill levels, with an emphasis on the Junior program.
  • Work closely with the Head Professional and other staff to ensure operational excellence.

Qualifications

  • PGA of Canada member in good standing. Both Apprentices and Class A members will be considered
  • Proven track record of exceptional customer service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Some knowledge with the Golf Genius tournament software
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • A passion for growing the game and mentoring others.

Compensation $3500-4500 per month Benefits/Perks
