REPORTING & RECONCILIATION ASSISTANT – Mississauga, Ontario (onsite)
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Reporting & Reconciliation Assistant to support weekly and month-end reporting for revenue across the U.S. and Canada. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate revenue reporting, contract setup, operational support, and the ongoing maintenance of the database.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, strong in reconciliation and variance investigation, and comfortable collaborating with operations teams to resolve reporting discrepancies and improve processes.
Key Responsibilities
Weekly Revenue Reporting (U.S. & Canada)
- Oversee weekly revenue reporting and ensure accurate revenue-by-game is posted in database.
- Audit and reconcile entries to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Identify revenue and commission variances, investigate root causes, and resolve discrepancies with operations teams.
- Support leadership with playcard reporting and resolution of reporting issues.
- New Location Setup (U.S.) in database
- Manage the setup of new U.S. locations in Coin Connexion by reviewing contracts and confirming: Commission rates, Payment terms, Card system setup, Related expenses
- Communicate with management to clarify contract terms, confirm system setup details, and validate opening dates.
Month-End Process Coordination
- Supervise month-end activities and ensure month-end reports are completed on time.
- Confirm Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable entries are completed
- Communicate month-end deadlines and completion updates to the team.
Cheque Requests & Invoice Support
- Produce weekly and monthly cheque requests.
- Generate backup reporting, support documentation, and invoice-related reporting for requests.
Operational Reporting & Support
- Prepare weekly/monthly game and location reporting to support operations teams.
- Assist with investigating operational reporting issues and support resolution planning.
These are the standards we look for:
- College Diploma in Accounting is required.
- Minimum 2 years experience with reconciliation, auditing, and variance analysis.
- Power BI and Microsoft Excel skills (Intermediate) is required
- Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy in financial reporting
- Strong organizational and time-management skills; ability to manage deadlines across weekly and month-end cycles
- Effective communication skills and confidence working cross-functionally with operations teams
