About the role
MI’KMA’KI- Municipal Limited (MMLP), a division of the Municipal Group of Companies, is currently seeking a Quality Control Engineer to work with a team of industry professionals, in building world class renewable energy projects in Nova Scotia. Based out of our operations in Nova Scotia (Yarmouth & Antigonish).
Primary Duties And Responsibilities
- Responsible for managing all facets of a fulsome QA/QC program to meet project specific requirement
- Ensure all work is completed to high quality standards, confirming to owner and quality control requirement
- Work with and report to various Project Managers and Superintendents and foremen
- Schedule and monitor all onsite checks and inspection
- Compile hand over documentation for Engineer of Record acceptance
- Manage all QST and NCR reporting and closeouts
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, And Experience
- 5 years’ experience in a relevant QA/QC environment
- Specific experience with concrete quality control required
- Broad familiarity with QA/QC procedural documentation, data collection and turn over documents
- Experience in Civil Construction considered an asset
- High attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Utilizes strong organizational and planning skills.
- Strong computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Power Point,
- Outlook)
