**This is a hybrid (2 days in office) position based out of our Vancouver, BC location.**

About the role

As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for processing a large volume of supplier invoices for multiple entities from both Canada and the United States. Working in a team environment, the successful candidate will chip in to the efficient operations of the Accounts Payable Department, a high volume team.

In this role, you will

  • Review all invoices for appropriate documentation before processing.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices for multiple entities.
  • Distribute weekly check runs and electronic payments.
  • Conduct phone verifications for vendors' bank information.
  • Maintain effective communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
  • Perform month-end payables closing duties.

What you bring

  • 2+ years recent Accounts Payable experience in an office environment.
  • Post-Secondary education with emphasis on Accounting/Finance
  • Intermediate working experience with Concur and Coupa
  • Intermediate to Sophisticated MS Excel skills.
  • Meticulous and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain strong relationships with partners
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills

Approximate Compensation**Range for this Role: $52,520 to $63,000

Our compensation**ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all national locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training
