Job Description
We are seeking a strategic leader to oversee operations at Biovectra’s PEI site. This role requires strong management skills, organizational ability, and resource deployment expertise. The ideal candidate will demonstrate foresight and ensure compliance in a highly regulated biologics environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct the development, planning, and implementation of manufacturing methods and processes for new or existing products.
- Establish and execute business plans and technical objectives to meet short- and long-term production goals.
- Manage employees across manufacturing and support departments.
- Partner with quality teams to ensure compliance with GMP guidelines.
- Prepare documentation, reports, and standard operating procedures.
- Oversee new product introduction (NPI), including prototype builds and ramp-up to volume production.
- Drive accountability for key metrics such as revenue, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support drug product fill-finish and packaging processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree or equivalent plus directly relevant experience
- 2+ years experience formally or informally leading people, projects and/or programs for entry to this level
- Proven experience managing biologics operations, including pDNA and mRNA technologies
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements for biologics manufacturing
- Excellent leadership, strategic planning, and organizational skills
Additional Details
This job has a full time weekly schedule.The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $91,646.00 - $143,198.00/yr CAD plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
