Given the size and scope of our organization, we have the flexibility for this position to be located in the following head office locations: Montreal or Quebec City.
Are you a driven, analytical sales professional ready to take the next step in your career? We’re looking for a Bilingual Account Representative with 1–2 years of sales experience, strong math and analytical skills, and a passion for building relationships and delivering results.
Join our dynamic team and help promote Canada Life’s employee benefits products while developing key advisor relationships. You’ll be supported with training, tools, and mentorship to help you grow and succeed.
What You’ll Do:
- Sales & Business Development:
- Collaborate with assigned and new producers to prepare competitive proposals (RFPs) for non-refund and some Refund/ASO cases
- Analyze specifications, identify missing data, and prepare rate and benefit comparisons
- Present proposals and lead finalist meetings with prospects and producers
- Promote new group products and services to clients and producers
- Meet or exceed sales targets and production credit objectives
- Account Management:
- Manage assigned accounts and resolve sensitive claims and accounting issues
- Interpret contract provisions and claims reports
- Organize and participate in employee meetings tailored to client needs
- Maintain strong client relationships through regular engagement and expectation management
- Producer Development:
- Build and maintain relationships with agents, brokers, and consultants
- Understand producer needs and resolve issues with professionalism
- Motivate producers to pursue new business and promote Canada Life offerings
- Provide training on group insurance as needed
What You Bring:
- Bilingualism (fluent in French and English) required, as the position will regularly serve our clients with English and French-speaking need
- 1–2 years of experience in sales or account management, ideally in financial services or insurance
- Strong analytical and math skills—comfortable working with financial data and interpreting reports
- A go-getter mindset—self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented
- University degree in commerce, finance, business administration, or equivalent experience
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within Quebec
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Relationship-building skills and a collaborative spirit

The base salary for this position is between $56,000 - $83,900 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
