As the Associate Vice President (AVP), IT P&C Delivery Support you will work in partnership with key stakeholders to ensure effective business operations of the IT P&C applications area. This mandate will be achieved by implementing & executing upon end-to-end quality practices, DEVOPS practices, problem management, vendor management, resource management, financial management and service level management.
How you will create impact:
- In partnership with key stakeholders shape an efficient and effective P&C quality assurance organization & operate as the quality champion that employs best practices to drive quality solution delivery across the whole P&C portfolio.
- Provide end to end testing services for large P&C initiatives to ensure quality solution delivery.
- Lead the triage of P&C systems production problems to determine root cause and coordinate quick resolution to minimize solution down time.
- Evolve and operate ongoing business management activities including dashboarding, reporting, vendor management, talent/resource management, portfolio management, financial management, knowledge repository, cloud service level management & business continuity plan.
- Oversee the full automation of system production releases via a continuous integration/continuous delivery automated pipeline.
- Implement monitoring, alerting and self-healing capabilities for all P&C solutions.
- Leading and engaging your team to deliver strategic objectives through effective coaching and mentoring, identifying and developing emerging talent, and fostering an innovative, collaborative, and agile culture.

To join our team:
- You have 10+ years of progressively responsible experience leading significant change in an Information Technology environment delivering solutions and leading high performing teams.
- You have a post-secondary degree in Business, Computer Science or a related field. Having a post-graduate education is an asset.
- You have expert knowledge of information technology, quality assurance, dashboards and reporting.
- You possess strong working knowledge of technical aspects of application development and emerging technology solutions.
- You have expert ability to drive results and delivery technological solutions related to business needs.
- You possess strong working knowledge of information technology dashboarding/reporting, service level management, vendor management & talent/resource management.
