We have the privilege of managing two iconic sites that showcase the city: the Old Port of Montréal and the Montréal Science Centre. WHAT ARE THE EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS?

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
  • Contracts :
    • Seasonal contract: From April 13, 2026 to November 6, 2026
  • Status: Unionized, seasonal
  • Salary: $20.15 (Class 2)

WHAT WILL YOUR ROLE BE WITHIN THE HORTICULTURE TEAM?

  • You will maintain the site’s green spaces (flower beds, landscaped areas, shrubs, etc.).
  • You will perform various horticultural tasks: weeding, watering, cleaning, fertilizing, planting, minor pruning, and trimming shrubs.
  • You will transport and operate the necessary equipment (e.g., leaf blower, hedge trimmer, brush cutter, lawn mower, string trimmer, water tank).
  • You will help maintain clean, safe, and welcoming outdoor areas for visitors.
  • You will answer questions from passersby and provide courteous assistance when needed.

WHAT PROFILE ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • High school diploma or vocational diploma in horticulture
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Minimum of 3 months of experience in horticulture
  • Manual dexterity
  • Strong attention to detail and safety
  • Creativity and a sense of aesthetics
