CGI is a forward-thinking organization committed to delivering robust IT infrastructure solutions. We are seeking a skilled Systems Administrator with expertise in both Windows and Linux environments and hands-on experience managing cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.

Your future duties and responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and optimize Windows and Linux servers across on-premises and cloud environments.

• Manage and monitor cloud infrastructure (AWS or Azure), including provisioning, scaling, and performance tuning.

• Implement and maintain system security, backup strategies, and disaster recovery plans.

• Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to support CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.

• Troubleshoot system and network issues, ensuring high availability and reliability.

• Maintain documentation for systems configurations, procedures, and policies.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

• Knowledge in systems administration (Windows and Linux).
• Knowledge around AWS or Azure cloud services (EC2, S3, IAM, VMs, Resource Groups, etc.).
• Knowledge around scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate).
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
