About the role

About DashQ

Everyone needs a place to live, but renting is still full of friction, for both renters and the teams who serve them. DashQ helps large multifamily owners and operators bring AI to the renter lifecycle and automate the workflows property teams run every day.

We partner with some of the largest and most innovative multifamily owners and operators in North America to reimagine the people, process, and technology behind renter management, so teams can move faster, operate with consistency, and deliver a better renter experience for everyone involved.

About The Role

Events are one of the most important ways DashQ creates market gravity.

We sell into a defined, relationship-driven market: the institutional owners and operators shaping the future of multifamily. In this world, the right ten people in a room can move more pipeline than a thousand impressions.

So we do not think about events as booths and badge scans. We think about them as a way to get the right accounts, customers, executives, and decision-makers into the right room — and to make the DashQ brand feel as sharp and credible in person as the product is.

As our Senior Event Producer, Brand & Field Experiences, you will lead the production of the conferences, hosted dinners, executive gatherings, customer events, private rooms, and branded activations that shape how the market experiences DashQ.

This is a hands-on role for someone who can take a commercial objective and turn it into an in-person experience that feels intentional, memorable, polished, and commercially useful.

You will not be doing it alone. You will work closely with Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, design, logistics, executives, customers, and external vendors. Your job is to take all of that and make it land in a real space, on a real day, for the right people.

Role details

Location: DashQ’s Ottawa office

Work model: Hybrid, with three days per week in office

Travel: This role requires meaningful travel to conferences, hosted events, customer gatherings, and field moments across Canada, the UK and the U.S.

Level: Senior Producer / Manager

Why top event talent joins DashQ

Events are a real growth lever here. You will not be producing events just to “show up.” You will be creating rooms that move relationships, pipeline, and market perception. The work is both creative and commercial. You will shape experiences that feel premium and memorable, but also connect directly to business goals. You will have real ownership. We are still building the playbook, which means the right person can shape how DashQ shows up in the market. You will be supported. You will work with external vendors for logistics, installations, delivery and a strong internal team across brand, design, Sales, Customer Success, and leadership. The company is growing. DashQ is early enough for your work to make a difference, but far enough along that the market is already pulling us forward.

We hire people who care deeply, move quickly, and want to help build something much bigger than a normal event calendar.

What You’ll Do

Lead DashQ’s presence across anchor conferences and the broader industry circuit, from brief to post-event wrap-up. Build production plans, budgets, timelines, vendor scopes, staffing plans, run-of-show documents, and onsite execution plans. Own exhibitor portals, sponsorship deliverables, booth and signage coordination, collateral, scanners, onsite requirements, and event-day needs. Produce hosted events, dinners, executive gatherings, customer moments, receptions, partner events, VIP experiences, and private rooms. Manage the full guest journey, including invitations, RSVP tracking, reminders, check-in, seating, name tags, hospitality flow, and follow-up coordination. Partner with Sales and Customer Success to make sure the room is composed on purpose: the right accounts, customers, seniority, and conversations. Help shape event concepts, onsite themes, interactive moments, hospitality touches, and branded experiences that make DashQ feel tangible and credible. Turn an abstract or technical product into something operators can see, understand, and believe in through demos, customer-led moments, and “watch it work” experiences. Coordinate vendors across venues, AV, booth builds, signage, catering, printing, staffing, photography, decor, gifting, transportation, and branded materials. Support content capture around events, including customer conversations, founder moments, interviews, testimonials, recaps, and behind-the-scenes content. Build the systems that help us scale: checklists, templates, vendor lists, production timelines, run-of-show formats, and playbooks by event type. Close the loop after each event with recaps, guest notes, CRM handoff, account context, follow-up coordination, vendor feedback, and lessons learned.

About You

You are a real producer — someone who can take a loose brief and turn it into a clear plan, a polished experience, and a strong event day.

You are creative and operational. You care about both the guest experience and the spreadsheet. You notice the energy in the room, but you also notice the missing signage, the unclear vendor scope, and the budget line that does not make sense.

You May Be a Great Fit If You Are

Strong with vendors, venues, timelines, budgets, run-of-show documents, production schedules, and onsite execution. Drawn to hosted experiences, executive gatherings, and high-trust rooms — not just big booths or generic activations. Calm under pressure and resourceful when plans change. Warm, confident, and polished in person. Comfortable hosting guests, directing vendors, and representing DashQ externally. Detail-oriented without needing to be micromanaged. Commercially aware — you understand the room exists to move relationships, even if you do not own sales strategy. Good at making an abstract or technical product feel real, credible, and exciting in person. Energized by the idea of helping build the market presence of an ambitious company going after a massive category.

Qualifications

We would love to meet candidates with 5+ years of experience in event production, experiential marketing, brand activations, field marketing, agency production, corporate events, hospitality production, conference production, or similar roles.

Helpful Background Includes

Producing conferences, booths, hosted dinners, executive gatherings, customer events, partner moments, VIP experiences, and branded activations. Account-based or field marketing for a considered, relationship-driven B2B sale. Producing U.S. events from a Canadian base, or Canadian events with U.S. teams, vendors, venues, or attendees. Working with venues, organizers, booth and AV vendors, caterers, photographers, videographers, and production partners. Supporting Sales, executives, customers, and external stakeholders in live environments. Creating or contributing to experiential concepts, not just executing logistics.

Agency, experiential marketing, field marketing, or event production experience is a strong plus.

Why join

This is a role for someone who wants more than a checklist. You will be trusted to shape the experience, own the details, manage the production, and help DashQ become known for showing up in a way that feels different.
