About the Position

Summary of Responsibilities

• Completion of audit, review or compilation files and related tax preparation.  

• Builds effective working relationships in assignments with operational client contacts.  

• Responds effectively to client requests.  

• Provides suggestions related to an assignment or project.  

• In house assignments such as accounting research or office administration 

 

Summary of Experience

• Preferred 1 Co-Op term experience related to accounting and assurance 

• 1 year of customer service experience  

 

Requirements

• Completion of a University Accounting degree  

• Working towards obtaining their Canadian CPA designation. 

• Basic understanding of IFRS, ASPE, CAS and Canadian Tax  

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate with external clients. 

• Possess strong project management skills and organization, with the ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously 

• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook 

• Experience working with accounting and tax software such as Quickbooks, Caseware, Jazz-it, Tax Prep and Simply Accounting

Job Details

• Job Vacancy Status: Existing Vacancy
• Hours of Work: 35 hours per week; the role requires overtime as necessary to meet operational and professional requirements.
• Location: Hybrid work arrangement at our office located at 201 Bridgeland Ave, Toronto, On
• Salary: $50,000- $65,000
• Compensation placement will be based on depth of experience, demonstrated skill set, and alignment with the responsibilities of the role.
