The Mountain Sports Sales Center Supervisor will ensure accurate customer relationship management in all aspects of Mountain Sports while delivering and leading the team to deliver exceptional customer service. The Mountain Sports Sales Center Supervisor is responsible for overseeing agents receiving inbound calls from the call center, or direct line, requesting private lessons or special programs. The Mountain Sports Sales Center Supervisor will assist customers with the booking, scheduling, payment, selection of instructor, time, day, location and whatever else the customer may request. The Mountain Sports Sales Center Supervisor will assist SRS Sales Specialists in the above tasks and any others deemed necessary by the Mountain Sports Fulfillment Manager. The ultimate goal of the Mountain Sports Sales Center Supervisor is to provide exceptional customer service and accuracy on behalf of the customer as well as supervise the operations of Mountain Sports Sales Center. Furthermore, the Mountain Sports Sales Center Supervisor is responsible for being informed about all aspects of the private lesson and special programs environment, as well as the other mountain sports products offered. This position is a seasonal leadership position. Applicants are expected to lead by example, support department service standards, and exhibit appropriate, pro-active, guest-friendly behavior.
Administration Duties
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM) - the ability to manage guest databases and relationships to drive sales.
- Using resort specific software (RTP), is able to sell & fulfill, as well as assisting the Specialists in selling and fulfilling all Private Lesson, Adult and Youth Programs and other Mountain Sports products as needed.
- Maintaining membership data or entrant data.
- Coordinate and schedule Volunteers and Employees for all Ski and Ride School lessons and Mountain Sports programs.
- Provide support and communicate with SRS operations Supervisors on a daily basis.
- Work with operations Supervisors to facilitate on-snow program coordination.
- Delegate responsibilities to SRS employees and volunteers when necessary to ensure smooth on-snow operations
- Oversee daily opening & closing tasks.
- Follow up on all deposit corrections and over/short situations.
- Ensure the best possible experience for Copper Mountain Employees by providing support, communication, and accuracy in paperwork and lesson bookings.
- Be a role model and mentor to the SRS Sales Specialists team by demonstrating Copper Values and outstanding guest/employee service.
- Assists in training the Copper Mountain Call Center and Guest Services agents on all Mountain Sports products, set up training sessions and answer questions in an ongoing manner.
- Assists in developing and implementing training programs for Mountain Sports Specialists.
- Create and maintain work schedule up to 8 – 10 SRS Sales Specialists.
- Oversees SRS Sales Specialists scheduling and timekeeping in coordination with the Mountain Sports Fulfillment Manager.
- Ensure 100% accuracy and Quality Control in Ski and Ride School and Woodward Private Lesson Bookings and fulfillment.
- Is the main point of contact and oversees the Mountain Sports sales office in the absence of the Mountain Sports Fulfillment Manager.
Guest Service Duties
- Offer guidance in the selection of these products appropriate to the needs of the guests.
- Have extensive knowledge of RTP such that guest issues or problem transactions can be solved and/or fixed quickly and expediently.
- Handle all inquiries and complaints, either over the phone or in person, in a professional and competent manner -- when necessary, determine what kind of compensation would be appropriate to remedy the situation to create a win-win solution for Copper Mountain and the guest.
- Ensure on-snow safety of members/participants.
- Provide support to any frontline staff or Call center staff in situations where guest concerns escalate.
- Resolve guest escalation and service recovery situations in person, on the phone and via email in a professional manner.

Preferred Experience And Special Skills
- Due to our dynamic environment, must be open-minded and ready to learn new skills. In addition, upon hiring, they will begin to attend applicable training classes. Topics not covered in training, but with which the Foreman must be familiar include, but are not limited to, Microsoft Office products, resort specific software, and the internet. Foremen should also be able to multi-task, independently problem solves using good judgment, and assesses situations that may or may not need to be passed along to a supervisor or manager. Specialists should have excellent communication and leadership skills.
- 2 to 3 years’ experience in the ski industry with a good working knowledge of ski and ride school operations is highly desirable. 2 to 3 years’ solid business experience including sales, public relations, marketing and business management is preferred. Guest service experience is a plus.
- College Degree and sales experience is preferred.
