CFAA Fire Alarm Technician ? Thunder Bay, Ontario

Trans Canada Safety is a rapidly expanding our full-service fire protection service and maintenance company who is presently looking to add to our team. Trans Canada Safety is a well-respected, organized company with a primary focus on customer service and life safety.

Responsibilities

Take direction from supervisors, coordinators, and/or support staff

Required to perform inspections, maintenance and repairs on fire alarm systems, fire extinguishers and emergency lights and other life safety systems.

Perform programming and verifications of new and modified fire alarm systems.

Ensure the highest standard of system reliability and client satisfactions are met.

Complete work order and reports in a timely manner. Rotate for on-call emergency services.

Understand and follow best practices for the standards that apply to the scopes of work being completed such as CAN/ULC, NFPA and Ontario Fire Code standards and regulations.

Qualifications

CFAA registered or certified

1-5 years? experience is preferred

Prior experience with fire alarm systems, fire extinguishers and emergency lighting is an asset

Must possess a valid driver's license

Positive attitude, strong work ethic, customer oriented and be able to work well independently as well as with others.
