Royal Vancouver Yacht Club, established in 1903, is a renowned private yacht club located in the heart of Vancouver, BC. With a rich history and a commitment to excellence, the Club offers world-class dining experiences, outstanding recreational facilities, and a vibrant social atmosphere. Our culinary team is dedicated to delivering exceptional service and creating memorable moments through exquisite food and delightful presentations.
We are looking for a hard-working Dishwasher to be responsible for ensuring all sanitation standards are met, assist in keeping all areas clean and sanitary. You will clean and put away dishes, clean floors and food preparation areas, refill supplies, wipe tables, and take out the trash.
To be successful as a steward - Dishwasher, you should be committed to working hard, and have the physical stamina to be on your feet and moving for the duration of your shifts. You should be friendly and helpful to customers and colleagues and have strong team working skills.
Responsibilities:
- Scraping food from dirty dishes, pots, pans, plates, flatware, and glasses, washing dirty dishes, and putting them away.
- Assisting with sweeping, mopping, and polishing the restaurant, bar, kitchen, and equipment.
- Assisting with unloading and storing stock.
Requirements:

Kept the kitchen and food prep areas clean and sanitized.

Put everything away at the end of each shift and mopped the floors.

Completed all kitchen closing duties and inspected to make certain tasks completed.
Additional Information
Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
Shift: must be available for day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts. Part-time or Full-time.
Wage range: $20 - $22 per hour plus tips
