Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Cloud Architect Engineer to lead the design and implementation of cloud-based solutions for digital media applications. This role is central to the strategic and operational planning of scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud architectures, and involves launching new products and enhancing existing offerings based on evolving market needs.

Participate in strategic planning for cloud-native digital media platforms.

Contribute to operational decisions that shape the architecture and delivery of cloud solutions.

Lead other architects and technical contributors, providing guidance and oversight.

Make independent architectural decisions with minimal supervision, ensuring alignment with business and technical goals.

Cloud Architecture Development

Design and develop cloud architecture solutions that prioritize scalability, security, and performance.

Ensure cloud infrastructure supports continuous delivery and agile development practices.

Product Innovation & Enhancement
-
Launch new cloud-based products and releases regularly.

Enhance existing offerings by identifying opportunities through market analysis and customer feedback.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in cloud architecture, engineering, or related fields.
- Proven expertise in designing and deploying cloud-native applications and infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization, and DevOps practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and cross-functional collaboration.
Preferred Skills:
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud security best practices.
- Knowledge of digital media technologies and performance optimization strategies.
- Ability to mentor junior engineers and architects.
Location: Onsite. Toronto, ON
Type of Job: Temporary, Contractor
Length of Contract: 12 months with the possibility of extension
